That Friday Feeling !

Both Roker Park and Bonnie Charlie are well treated in the 3.35 at Catterick but neither has shown much of late and this could go to former Nicholls inmate Legal Eagle who may be seen to best effect when able to dominate a small field like he has got here. If one of the other were to shine it would probably be Roker Park on this his second run back and O'Meara stable are firing in the winners of late.

Up at Mussleburgh there is an interesting Class 3 Handicap at 3.45 over the 5f course as you dont see many of these handicaps covering a two stone weight difference these days. It is the Consolation race for the Scottish Sprint Cup run on Saturday and it sees a field of 14 line up. Lost in Paris appeals as one that could go well but an outsider to watch out for is Garstang who goes well off a fast pace and is well treated on his retrun to turf. If you look at Magical Macey who beat him in April by a nose at Wolverhampton when carrying 4lb more you will see that he is now a total of 19lb better off with rival because of their turf ratings being at such odds with their All Weather one's. There's no doubting however that Magical Macey has much better form on the turf than Garstang but even so it makes you sit up and take notice. However neither of them are well drawn as high numbers are favoured here and Lost In Paris has struck lucky on that score. Jarrow is well handicapped for the Nicholls pairing, however after his latest good effort I thought we may have seen a change of jockey this time, but all the same he has a decent chance of winning and he looks like going off as fav. The same stables Invincible Lad is another that has claims in what is an open race and I will have a pop at Lost in Paris (5/1) and Grastang ew.
