There has been no change to the going overnight save that it has got slightly faster right across the track and therefore the stands rail should once again be the place to be particularly as Johnny Mudball will give them all a lead. Yesterday it appeared that the stand side had several lengths advantage over the far side and in the last furlong the stands side pulled right away.
One that could benefit from the firming up of the going is Striking Spirit who is stiil reasonbly priced at 20/1, I'm not saying he is good enough to win, although he ran very well in the Wokingham when finishing 2nd, but he should be bang there.
I still think that Victoire De Lyphar will take all the beating and his stable have been saying he is a future Group horse and to win this lately that is what you have to be.
