Sunday runners !

No post yesterday as I was returning from a week in Lisbon, the weather was ok at the beginning of the week but like everywhere else they are getting significant rainfall and things gradually worsened towards the end. Cant say I'm a lover of the food but the city has it's own busy style and there is plenty to see and do.

Anyway some interesting results yesterday with good performances from Far West and Our Father. I thought that Sire Collonges would take all the beating after his last run at the track and for Our Father to beat him well on his first run back was impressive.

Today there are a couple of competitive big field handicap hurdles and if you can find the winner of one of those you will have done well as it will probably be a decent price. Bothy could be worth an ew in the Racing Post Hurdle at 2.50 - (4th 12/1).

It's a day of significant non runners with Well Sharp, Sprinter Sacre and Darlan all ducking out of their intended races.

In the bumper The Liquidator has a fine chance as the form of his 2nd last year is very good indeed and he has joined a stable that knows how to win this type of race. He receives 4lb from the previous winners, which is a bonus. - (2nd 4/1)
