Sing for your supper !

Singeur, one of my horses to follow, should appreciate the stiff 5f at Beverley tomorrow. He won really well on his return 2 weeks ago at Thirsk beating a good yardstick in Silaah and he can win the Conditions Stakes in which the field are evenly matched. Although he looks like 6f will suit him better, with his come from behind style of racing, all 5 of his wins have come over the minimum trip. He has run some good races in defeat in the past and he is capable of stepping up again on the form he has shown to date. The two to give him most to do would appear to be Tax Free and Love Delta, the latter ran well first time out this season at Goodwood and that may have brought him on a bit and its interesting to see Mark Johnston persevere with a sprinter. Tax Free started last season on a mark of a 112 so if he were to run anywhere near that form he would be entitled to win and the booking of Paul Hanagan is an eyecatching move by the stable who have given this some thought it would seem.
