2012 Review : The track record set by Fleeting Spirit was broken by 0.75 secs. The winner travelled very smoothly behind the pace and quickened up to lead before sticking his neck out to repel the runner ups late surge.Suited by fast ground this was the winners second run over 5f (9th in Nunthorpe) and it brought his first Group win. His course record now is 11213 having finished 3rd in the Sprint Cup later in the year.
